Most of us try to take care of ourselves in the best way that we possibly can. We eat the right types of foods whenever possible, get a little bit of exercise and make sure that we get the rest we really need. Although those factors can make a difference in the way that you look and feel, there is something else that you can do to really make a difference.
Caring for yourself on the inside is important but it is also important to care for yourself on the outside as well. After all, the skin is the largest organ in the human body and it is one that is openly exposed to everyone in the world around us. If you really want to make a difference in the way that you look and feel, taking care of your skin is the first step that you should take.
Unfortunately, many people try to take care of their skin by purchasing store-bought bars that are full of harmful chemicals. Not only that, those bars are often so expensive, they could easily take a bite out of your budget. It’s time for you to change those factors by making your own natural skin bar that will help to keep your skin hydrated, healthy and happy throughout the entire year. It is made from all-natural ingredients, so you can go ahead and use it without having to worry about what you are actually using.
These bars are made from coconut oil, beeswax and lavender. Not only do they work well in keeping your skin hydrated, they smell fantastic so you will want to use them several times per day. Just keep one handy at all times and watch your skin benefit from it.
1 ½ cups of Beeswax (grated or chopped)
2 cups coconut oil
Lavender essential oil (optional)
Grate beeswax and melt in pot or in a bowl in a pot of boiling water.
Once it has melted, remove the bowl from the heat and still in the coconut oil.
Sprinkle dried lavender into the bottoms of your silicon molds.
Pour melted beeswax into silicone molds and let set for about an hour. You can place them in the fridge to speed the hardening of these bars.
Use these bars after baths or showers to keep your skin silky smooth. Enjoy!
