I’m not talking about hope that comes in the form of a prescription medication, as those often have some side effects associated with them. I’m talking about a natural remedy that may be able to restore your healthy sleep patterns. It can allow you to sleep good through the night and when you wake up in the morning, you will be refreshed and in a fantastic mood. It only contains 3 ingredients, it’s very cheap and it’s easy to make.
1/4 teaspoon of raw honey
1/8 teaspoon of sea salt
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Any of these ingredients can help to relax your body and mind. The combination of the three ingredients, however, helps to reduce your cortisol and allows you to sleep all night long.
How to prepare and use:
Consume this mixture at bedtime. There are two ways to consume it.
1. Mix the coconut oil and honey and then and sea salt. Stir and swallow a spoonful of the mixture, after which you would drink a glass of water.
2. It is also permissible to consume the raw honey and coconut oil separately. Drink a glass of water and then add the sea salt, either as a pinch under the tongue or with a glass of water.
If you happen to wake up during the night, take this remedy again.
It might surprise you that honey is included but honey does not affect your blood sugar levels. It helps you to fall asleep easily and provides glycogen storage in the brain. The secretion of hormones from the adrenal gland is suppressed. Those hormones include adrenaline and stress hormones.
Coconut oil provides energy for the body and keeps you full. This helps to control any hunger pains you may experience until morning and it keeps your blood sugar from spiking. Once you are asleep, you stay asleep.
