They do it to fight insomnia but on the following day, they may have certain side effects. Those side effects can include dizziness, nausea, anxiety and even fatigue. You may even become dependent on those unnatural remedies and get addicted.

The recipe for banana tea that we discuss here comes from Dr. Oz. It calls for organic bananas, and that keeps you from having to worry about harmful pesticides and chemicals. If you can’t find (or can’t afford) organic bananas, don’t be overly concerned. They are not the dirtiest fruit out there.

You should drink this banana tea one hour before bed to get the most benefit from it. Here is how to make it:

Ingredients:

– 1 organic banana

– 1 small pot of water (enough for a regular-sized mug)

– A dash of cinnamon

Directions:

1. Bring the pot of water to boil

2. Cut both ends of the banana off, then place the rest of the unpeeled fruit into the boiling water

3. Boil it for about 10 minutes, then using a strainer or colander, pour the liquid into a mug.

4. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon into the tea and enjoy.
