One of the things that many of us have in common is the fact that we tend to sit when we work. This has led to a rather interesting issue for many of us, a complete lack of exercise and a midsection that seems to be expanding on a regular basis. Fortunately, if you do sit in the chair at work, there are things you can do to help turn the tide.
Did you realize the statistics show that we may not have as much time as we thought we did? According to those statistics, four hours is all we get on a daily basis of free time. The majority of us tend to spend this time sitting, once again, but we sit in front of the television. Even if we are watching TV, we are likely scrolling through our phone while in a seated position.
Another interesting statistic is that the average American mother only has just slightly over 30 minutes of free time on a daily basis. This has also led to a problem with an increase in our midsection. If you find that you are sitting on a regular basis, regardless of whether it is to watch television or to get some work done, the following exercises might be just right for you. They can help tone the midsection and they do so without even having to stand up.
The following video shows Denise Austin, a popular fitness trainer, and she is going through 5 different exercises that are simple and effective. When you do these exercises on a regular basis along with eating a balanced diet, it can go a long way in helping to reduce your midsection and give you that waistline that you have been looking for all along.
