It is amazing how far some people go in order to have the perfect look. There is an entire industry that has been built up around it, and it is one that most people find to be quite beneficial. As an example, you have tanning beds in many locations and people go to them regularly to ensure that they have a good tan at all times of the year.
What many people don’t realize is that tanning yourself under these beds is like playing a game of Russian roulette. Some people are able to get away with it successfully but others may be in for more than what they bargained for. That was the case with Ashley Trenner, a lovely girl who was obsessed with having the perfect hand all the time. She just seemed to be at the tanning salon all of the time and eventually, things caught up with her.
Although Ashley loved going to the tanning salon, her mother didn’t think it was a good idea. In fact, her mother continued to protest over her obsession, but it didn’t stop her. She continued to pour a fortune into tanning herself, both in terms of the time she spent and the money invested. It isn’t clear if she was trying to hold onto some of her youth or if it was just a matter of her ignoring the risks but soon, she discovered a benign lesion. That still didn’t stop her.
Eventually, at the age of 33, Ashley was diagnosed with melanoma. The initial treatment was successful but it kept returning.
