There are many toys to enjoy in life but one that most of us can truly appreciate are Legos. From the time that we were young, we likely enjoyed putting these blocks together and they are not only fun when we get older, they are also quite nostalgic as well. If you are somebody that loves putting Legos together, you are about to find something awesome in this DIY project.
Unlike many DIY projects that can be quite expensive, making this Lego table is something that can be done very cheaply. In fact, all you really need to get started is an old basket and an end table, something that you can typically find at a yard sale or at a secondhand store. Other than that, a little paint and some Legos and you will be ready to go.
I found this idea over at Fussy Monkey Business and I just had to share it with you!
This is a project that many parents will appreciate, even if they don’t have children around. It can be a lot of fun to have a Lego table sitting in amongst your living room and it is more than something fun, it is an interesting conversation piece as well. Of course, if you do have children, you will find that they are sitting at this new table and playing for hours on end. There is a lot to say about it, but the instructions are pretty straightforward.
Begin with a small stand
Cut out the top with a jigsaw
Cut some Lego plates down to size and then use quarter round to cover the edges. It is then time to clean up the table and paint it. They used red and it was an awesome choice!
There you have it. The perfect end table for children or for your own amusement.
