THIS Is What Happens When You Screw Plastic Bottles Into Cardboard And Hang It On Your Window

One of the problems that many of us face, regardless of where we happen to live, is keeping ourselves cool when the weather gets hot outside. Admittedly, the hot season is rather short in some parts of the world but in others, it can be devastatingly low. Add to that the fact that keeping the home cool is more than just a convenience, it’s a requirement for many people, the need to do so becomes clear.

Although keeping the home cool is something that many people considered be simple because of air-conditioning, it can also be quite expensive as well. Seeing the spike in the electric bill can be a bit of a deterrent when it comes to running the air-conditioning all summer long. In some parts of the world, air conditioning is not even an option.

Rather than cool your home with a commercial AC unit, why not try this simple idea that can actually cool your home up to 10°F? The beauty of it is, it doesn’t require any electricity to run it, because it uses a natural principle to cool the air in the summertime. In fact, the only thing that you really need to get started is a piece of cardboard and some old plastic bottles. This project is one that is not only going to keep you cooler, it is also going to amaze you with its simplicity.

The basic principle behind this eco-cooler is the compression of air because of the bottlenecking that takes place as it moves through the plastic bottles. If it sounds simple, it actually is! Read on to learn more.

Abdullah says, “Since most rural homes in Bangladesh are made with corrugated tin, the Eco-Cooler has the power to provide relief to millions of Bangladeshis. We sincerely hope this volunteer effort will make a difference in their lives.”

The exact science behind this has not yet been released but hundreds of people in Bangladesh are already using this eco-cooler in their own home. As a result, they are sleeping better and much more comfortably.

According to reports, these eco-coolers have been installed in various villages, including Nilphamari, Daulatdia, Paturia, Modonhati and Khaleya. Since they are created with easily accessible materials, it is also helpful for areas that don’t have electricity.

This creative idea has really helped to solve a rather serious issue. Perhaps other areas will soon follow suit. Maybe you could even make use of it as well!
